An agricultural plane has crashed after possibly coming into contact with powerlines at a property west of Goondiwindi.

The Queensland Ambulance Service was called out to the incident at Callandoon about 7.30am on Wednesday to find a male in his 40s injured.
The critically injured man had injuries to his face and leg as well as potential internal injuries as a result of the plane, flying at a low level, crashed.
Police reported the aircraft as a single engine air tractor, commonly used for spraying crops.
He was transported to the Goondiwindi airport where RACQ Lifeflight transported the man to the Princess Alexandra Hospital.
The energy company is attending the scene to see to the power lines damaged in the incident.
