Mr White was first appointed to the role in May 2012, when the board was first established.
The board oversees Redland, Logan and Beaudesert, Princess Alexandra, QEII and Jubilee hospitals.
More than 900 applications were received for the six positions.
Company director and accountant Peter Dowling, not to be confused with the former Redlands MP, was also reappointed.
Others to be reappointed are University of Queensland’s Undergraduate and Midwifery director at the School of Nursing Dr Marion Tower and Metro South Hospital and Health Service director Professor John Prins.
New appointments include Donisha Duff, who has worked for Australian Indigenous Doctors’ Association, and is the national manager for Indigenous Affairs for Kidney Health Australia and Adjunct Professor Janine Walker.
